At the start of 2020, I was lucky to fly to Italy with Luca of Passione Vino and Simon Stallard. Travelling with a wine importer and a chef has its perks, and I had the pleasure of documenting that trip. Starting as guests of Carolo and Katia Meroni, who make the Il Veluto wine and took us out for dinner in Verona. Then we visited Custodi delle Vigne deli Etna winery in Sicily before finally heading to the Pianogrillo winery, also on the slopes of Mount Etna.
