My down-to-earth and approachable nature characterises my aesthetic, enabling me to connect with my subjects, whether they are globally renowned figures like Lewis Hamilton or the inhabitants of the secluded Hebridean island of Eigg. I work effortlessly with film and digital mediums, embracing natural light whenever possible infuses my work with a timeless quality, allowing me to capture the unfiltered authenticity of each moment.

My career has seen some remarkable highlights, including the honour of working with long-established clients like Apple and the legendary rock band U2. These collaborations have allowed me to grow as a photographer and contribute to projects that resonate with a global audience.

My work has graced the pages of renowned publications, and I've been privileged to showcase my work in prestigious exhibitions and awards, such as the 2017 Taylor Wessing Photographic Portrait Prize at the National Portrait Gallery and the 2018 Creative Review's Photography Annual. Moreover, I'm immensely proud that my work has found a lasting place in the Scottish National Gallery's permanent collection, a testament to the enduring impact of my project, As I Found Her.

In addition to my personal photography journey, I also lead Fanatic, a specialised festival photography agency. This venture allows me to collaborate with a team of talented photographers who share my passion for capturing the vibrant energy and unique experiences of music festivals. In 2023, I had the distinct privilege of serving as the Photo Director for renowned events such as Download and Field Day Festivals, among many others. This endeavour brings its own rewards and beautifully complements my personal photography, enabling me to actively engage in documenting the unforgettable spirit of festivals.
