One of my highlights this summer was heading out to Ibiza with Stallard to work on his collab with sculpture artist Oscar Gutie.
They had met years previously and had a vision of Simon cooking under one of his amazing sculptures. When we arrived at Oscar’s, they would do one better. Oscar would make a grill from the scrap in his yard, welding, and grinding, as Simon cooked the finest of local ingredients.
It was a joy to document, and even pick up a knife and get stuck in commis cheffing for Simon when the guest list doubled in size.
A wonderful evening unfolded. Some really beautiful people were present, and honestly, it felt like core memories were made that day.
